Social Determinants of Health
Using a feminist intersectional lens, reflect upon the social determinants of your health. Apply concept/course readings (identified in bold font) and cite all references.
Contemplating new ideas/perspectives and our own responses are important in the learning/unlearning process. The goal of writing a response is to encourage students to pay more attention to images/ texts/ events around them, their thinking and (un)learning process, and to provide practice in developing critical thinking, reading and writing skills in relation to the course materials.
Each response is to be 2-3 pages (approx. 500-750 words) in length, double-spaced, and written in Times New Roman 12 font. Write in full sentences and paragraphs. Each response should clearly demonstrate engagement with the course material of each relevant section; explore the reasons for connecting/ not connecting with materials; and what was learned/ unlearned.
