The goal of this assignment is to:
-Conduct a career interview
Administer and interpret various career tests (use Myers-Briggs as one of your tests)
-Assess and justify the different roles of a career counselor
-Identify, locate, collect, and organize resources available for career counseling.
You are expected to address the following areas in your written response:
-Summarize your procedures, techniques, and counseling session
-Describe your theoretical orientation when providing therapy (you will be expected to incorporate aspects of these therapy in your notes).
– Identify the major concerning issue.
-Describe and attach copies of a minimum of two career assessments to your report. Specify how you addressed these assessments through career counseling.
-Please describe treatment goals. These goals should align with your theoretical orientation and the client’s presenting issue(s).
Include a section where you reflect on your experience as a career counselor. What went well in the session? What will you change for future sessions?
