–What do you think this article says about our ability to “know ourselves”? What does this say about introspection?
–Who do you think is the best judge of who you really are — yourself or someone else? Does the answer depend on which traits/emotions are being discussed?

–Please describe the event, being sure to describe the two “dissonant cognitions” and how they conflicted with each other.
–How did you resolve your dissonance? Were there other things you could have done?
