At the top of the annotated bibliography, state your problem and the policy/program you are going to focus on in your policy memo/podcast assignment (no more than 100 words). Your statement of the problem and policy should be revised based on my feedback on the topic statement assignment. With each additional assignment for the policy memo, your characterization of the problem and descriiption of the policy should become more refined.
Then, include your annotated bibliography with at least six scholarly sources that are relevant to the topic that you will be addressing in your policy memo/podcast. Four or more of these sources must be primary research articles (e.g., studies published in peer-reviewed journals or reports from the government or think tanks/policy organizations that include data). Two or fewer may be secondary sources (e.g., review articles or book chapters). Each citation should be listed alphabetically in APA 7 format. Each citation should be followed by a brief annotation paragraph (no more than 150 words) that summarizes, evaluates, and reflects on the information that is presented in the source:

The evaluation should address the strengths and weaknesses of the source (e.g., research design, bias) and how it connects to the other sources (e.g., how are the findings similar to and different from your other sources?).
The reflection should highlight how the source relates to your overall argument for your policy memo/podcast (e.g., does it provide support for your policy recommendation?).
