For this assignment you will play the role of a Sport Psychology Consultant who is prescribing an imagery intervention to an athlete. Two different scenarios have been provided – you must pick one OR the other (i.e., pick Scenario 1 or Scenario 2). Your assignment is to design an imagery intervention that addresses the specific needs of the client in the scenario you choose.
For each scenario you must prepare two imagery scripts for the client. For each script you must also prepare a companion document that explains the content you included. It is essential that you justify what you have included as content in the imagery scripts you create. That is, specific reasons should be based on imagery theory and imagery model(s) (i.e., the 5 functions of imagery and the PETTLEP approach), as well as supported by information discussed in lectures and contained within the additional readings (see lecture slide from Sept 21, 2022 for details).
