Windshield Survey Guidelines

Overview: A windshield survey happens when you make observations about a community by driving or walking through that community. Conducting a
windshield survey for this class will provide you with a foundation for completing a thorough community assessment. This will give you an opportunity to learn a
new process that will help you understand the community you serve or a community you want to learn more about.
Prompt: For this assignment, you will first review the Windshield Survey Components document. Then, you will go out into your selected community (for your
final project), if possible, or use Google Earth to explore your selected community. Fill out the Windshield Survey Template as you explore your community. Keep
in mind that not all questions in the Windshield Survey Components document may be appropriate for your community. You may want to provide additional
information in your template that is not mentioned in the Windshield Survey Components document.
